Our Windows templates are evaluation editions therefore it's not possible to simply enter a license key in the normal way.
Type the following command in command prompt (launched as administrator) to activate, replacing the X's with your license key:
Windows Server 2012 Standard:
DISM /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEula
Windows Server 2012 Datacenter:
DISM /online /Set-Edition:ServerDatacenter /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEula
Follow the instructions to restart the VPS after entering the above commands.
